Course Description

Continuing Airworthiness management is the process by which an aircraft is kept in a condition where it remains airworthy throughout its life – or in other words i.e. technically fit for flight. A Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO) is an approved organisation responsible for implementation of continuing airworthiness management tasks.

This CAMO training ensures that each person in the organisation has relevant knowledge, background and appropriate experience related to aircraft continuing airworthiness and are sufficient qualified to perform continuing airworthiness management tasks.

Key concepts covered include:

  • Transfer of continuing airworthiness records
  • Control of the EIS of the aircraft
  • Application for a certificate of airworthiness
  • Application for a permit to fly
  • CAME (latest)
  • CAMP (latest)
